Owner/President of Jim Roberts Construction, Inc. 1984 – Present The company has completed over 350 single-family residences including extensive remodeling projects. Jim Roberts Construction has also designed and built Eagles Ridge Apartments; a 108 unit apartment community in Battle Creek, which includes a community building with fitness center and maintenance garage. Our light commercial projects include three automobile dealerships and service centers in both Kalamazoo and Battle Creek. We continue to build select custom homes and extensive additions on a design/build basis.

Vice-President for Property; Member, Board of Directors; Chairman, Property Committee; Zion Lutheran Church, Kalamazoo, MI 1997 - 2000. (This Board oversees the Church’s property, building maintenance, repairs and its future building needs.) 1998-2000.

President, Crooked Lake Texas Association Board of Directors, 1995 – 2000. This Board’s responsibilities include lake level maintenance, property value issues and local environmental protection.

Eagles Ridge Apts. L.L.C is an apartment project in Battle Creek, MI, to be built in three phases. The first phase of 108 apartment units was completed December 2000, and consists of 2 & 3 bedroom units, a community building and maintenance building.
